X THE CELEBRATION TO MARK THE PARISH PATRON SAINTS IS SUNDAY 4TH MAY 2024 AT 11AM - Please note that this Mass is to bring all of us together, therefore there will be only two Masses in the parish to fulfil the Sunday Obligation. Saturday at 6.00pm and Sunday at 11.00am that will be followed by a time of celebration in the Hall where all our parishioners are encouraged to come along. Those attending the 6.00pm Mass on Saturday are also invited to join us for the celebration for all parishioners in the Hall following the 11.00am Mass on Sunday. X ARCHDIOCESAN JUBILEE CELEBRATION -Please pick up a poster from the back of the church giving details of this event taking place on 7th June 2025, 10am-5pm at The Friars, Aylesford.
X RECEPTION OF HOLY COMMUNION DURING MASS – Only Catholics in state of grace receive communion during Mass. The priest/minister raises the host slightly and shows it to each of the communicants, saying The Body of Christ; Response: Amen. Those Christians who are not in full communion with the Catholic Church and Roman Catholics not able to receive Holy Communion are welcome to receive a blessing. Those wishing to receive a blessing are asked to approach the priest with their arms crossed over their chess. Those receiving Holy Communion in your hands please put it in your mouth before leaving the minister/priest.
X INFANT BAPTISM –
May only happen after undergoing a preparation with the parish priest. Baptisms
can then be celebrated at either 3pm on a Saturday or 1pm on a Sunday on the 1st
or 3rd Sunday of the month. Please note from January 2025 the
preparation for infant Baptism will take place every second Sunday of the month
after 11 am Mass.

X REQUEST FROM THE SVP - they would like to hear from a Parishioner who has a Transit sized van (or who has access to one), who would be able to, on the odd occasion, help to collect and deliver the odd piece of furniture such as a bed, or table, or a small sofa to a person in need that the SVP are helping. X QUEEN OF HEAVEN (LATIN: REGINA CAELI) – this is said throughout Eastertide from Easter Sunday through Pentecost to the seventh Sunday after Easter. The Regina caeli is also said in place of the Angelus during Eastertide.
