X REQUIEM MASS FOR THE LATE LAZARUS BANDA - on Wednesday 2nd August 2023 at 1.00pm we are celebrating The Requiem Mass of the late Lazarus Banda, a much loved member of our Choir at Sunday Mass. His reception will be at 12:58pm followed by Requiem Mass. His mortal remains will then go to his family, relatives and friends for his burial in Zimbabwe. Please come and join us to pray for Lazarus and celebrate his time with us in the Hall through the refreshment organised by the parish. 

X FIRST RECONCILLIATION, FIRST HOLY COMMUNION AND CONFIRMATION REGISTRATION FORMS are now available at the back of the church. Closing date for Registration is 23rd September 2023. 

X ADULTS WANTING TO JOIN THE CATHOLIC CHURCH – Forms are also now available for adults who are thinking about Confirmation, Reception, Baptism and Full Communion with the Catholic Church. 

X THE HOLIDAY CLUB - takes place at St. Joseph's starting this Tuesday, August 1st from 10am - 4pm, with lots of activities, fun and games for children aged 5-14. Application forms are available at the back of the church and there are still a few places remaining. Please return the completed form to the Parish Office at Our Lady's Church.

X THE SICK - We remember all those who are sick and housebound and that they remain in our prayers including Sheelagh (Mary) Crowther, Beulah Blomfield, Michael Shields and Veronica Poulton.  

X SUNDAY COFFEE AFTER 9.00am MASSthank you to everyone to has helped/supported these events. Donations have been handed in totalling £110 for Parish funds. 

X WEDNESDAY COFFEE MORNINGS AFTER MASS - Please note that there will be no refreshments in the hall after the 10.00am Mass on Wednesdays throughout August.  From the beginning of September we are planning to draw up a rota of people willing to serve tea/coffee and biscuits on a Wednesday morning after Mass. This week is the very last week that Kathleen Lynch serves us with tea and coffee, and supplies the most wonderful cakes and scones. We are very grateful to Kathleen for her dedication on a Wednesday morning, and we will miss her … and her cakes very much. Thank you Kathleen for all you have done for so many years for our parish.
