X A VERY BIG THANK YOU to everyone who helped prepare our churches for Easter. The flower ladies in both churches deserve especial thanks for their hard work and both churches look absolutely splendid. Thank you to the singers for their magnificent work during the Sacred Triduum, to Michael and Tony for providing musical accompaniment and to all of the work put in by the Liturgy, Evangelisation and the Pastoral and Social Care Committees in providing support to get all the readers in place, to make sure the Watch went well and for organising the Easter eggs for the children on Easter Sunday. Thank you to the Sacristans, to all of our wonderful servers and thanks to all who read and led prayers and to our meeters and greeters at the churches. Thank you to Dylan, Glyn and Terry for opening, closing and getting the churches ready putting up the veils and taking them down, to the cleaners and everyone else who has contributed to the success of Easter in our Parish.

X THIS WEEKEND 23RD/24TH APRIL – SPECIAL COMBONI MISSIONARIES OF THE HEART OF JESUS MISSION APPEAL – we have Fr Louis Kouevi MCCJ visiting for Saturday night and both Sunday Masses next weekend as part of an appeal for the Comboni Missionaries, also known as the Verona Fathers, to support their ministry and share their work with parishioners in the Diocese.
