Please note that this Mass is to bring all of us together, therefore there will be only two Masses in the parish to fulfil the Sunday Obligation. Saturday at 6.00pm and Sunday at 11.00am that will be followed by a time of celebration in the Hall where all our parishioners are encouraged to come along. Those attending the 6.00pm Mass on Saturday are also invited to join us for the celebration for all parishioners in the Hall following the 11.00am Mass on Sunday.
X A FILM ON THE LIFE OF ST BERNADETTE – will be shown on Saturday 11th May in the Hall at OLHoC starting at 2.00pm. Refreshments will be available. Again, please sign the sheet at the back of church if you would like to come along.

Please contact Eileen Taylor who runs the shop, and is there after the 11am Sunday Mass and Masses during the week. Or drop a note into the Presbytery with your contact details on.
X WEDNESDAY COFFEE MORNINGS – another thank you is due to the supporters
of the Wednesday coffee mornings that take place after Mass. A recent donation was
made of £120 – bringing the total donations since September last year to £445.
Well done!
X SVP APPEAL FOR NEW MEMBERS – A big thank you to everyone that came forward offering their services to the SVP (Society of St Vincent De Paul) last weekend – there was a great response. We will contact you all to arrange an information session. If you missed us at the back of the church and would like to know more about how you can help the SVP please ring 07864 581191
X RAINBOW CENTRE SPONSORED KNIT-IN – this was held in the hall at OLHoC on 10th April. 78 knitters took part, 7 from our own Parish.
Over £5000 was raised and the Centre is very grateful to all knitters, sponsors and those from our Parish who helped on the day serve refreshments and count money. THANK YOU.
X LIFE IN SPIRIT SEMINARS - Pope Francis has asked for the Life in the Spirit Seminars, which explore what it means to live your life in the power of the Holy Spirit, to be made widely available throughout the church.
Come and find out for yourself why the Pope is so keen on them, by joining this year's Seminars, starting on St George's Day, 23 April, at various locations around the diocese including St George's Cathedral and St Thomas’s, Canterbury or on Zoom.

X QUEEN OF HEAVEN (LATIN: REGINA CAELI) – this is said throughout Eastertide from Easter Sunday through Pentecost to the seventh Sunday after Easter.
The Regina caeli is also said in place of the Angelus during Eastertide.
Queen of Heaven
V. Queen of Heaven, rejoice, alleluia.
R. For He whom you did merit to bear, alleluia.
V. Has risen, as he said, alleluia.
R. Pray for us to God, alleluia.
V. Rejoice and be glad, O Virgin Mary,
alleluia.
R. For the Lord has truly risen, alleluia.
Let us pray. O God, who gave joy to the world
through the resurrection of Thy Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, grant we beseech
Thee, that through the intercession of the Virgin Mary, His Mother, we may
obtain the joys of everlasting life. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.
