X ARCHDIOCESE OF SOUTHWARK 2022 SPRING ASSEMBLY BY THE JUSTICE AND PEACE COMMISSION on Saturday 25th June 2022 at St Paul’s Catholic Church, 103 Maison Dieu Road, Dover, Kent CT16 1RU.  Preceded by Mass at 10.00am at St Edmunds Chapel, Priory Road, Dover CT16 1BB. Registration 10.40am.  Programme 11am to 4pm.  Entitled: Caught in the Act: Tackling the injustice of the Nationality and Borders Act: removal to Rwanda and difficulties for Ukrainians in the UK.  Everyone welcome.  Entrance is free.  Lunch provided. X FUNDRAISING AND GIFT AID VOLUNTEER FOR THE DIOCESE - The Fundraising and Gift Aid team is looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to be based at Bowen House, Archdiocese of Southwark, (Lambeth North) to help the Fundraising Team with administration over the summer (June – August). We are looking for one or two volunteers. The job will involve: 

inputting data to a database;

scanning and filing documents;

franking post and taking it to the Post Office;

other general administrative duties.

X FOLKESTONE FOODBANK – DONATIONS. Thank you and God bless all of those who contribute to and administer this work. Please put your donations of food in the big orange bin in the entrance at OLHoC, and in the big cardboard box at St Joseph and they will be transported to the Food Bank for distribution. REMEMBER PLEASE, NO CLOTHES OR TOYS – AND NEVER ANY ALCOHOL OR OUT OF DATE ITEMS. 

X PENTECOST PRAYER & PRAISE - on Sunday 5th June we are invited for a united gathering of Prayer & Praise over our town, organised by Folkestone Churches Together and this will be held at Harbour Church at 6.00pm.

It is hoped this will be a significant evening as we gather to praise and pray over this town; To declare the Kingdom of God over our schools, health & well-being, workplace, governance, media and arts and to pray for Gods kingdom to come!
