X FIRST RECONCILLIATION, FIRST HOLY COMMUNION AND CONFIRMATION REGISTRATION FORMS are now available at the back of the church. Closing date for Registration is 23rd September 2023.
X ADULTS WANTING TO JOIN THE CATHOLIC CHURCH – Forms are also now available for adults who are thinking about Confirmation, Reception, Baptism and Full Communion with the Catholic Church.
X FORTHCOMING SECOND COLLECTIONS & EVENTS - Due to an clerical error last weekend, the second collection for the Parish Building Fund was not held and will instead be held this weekend.
The Holiday Club takes place at St. Joseph's starting Tuesday, August 1st from 10am - 4pm, with lots of activities, fun and games for children aged 5-14. Application forms are available at the back of the church. Please return the completed form to the Parish Office at Our Lady's Church. X WEDNESDAY COFFEE MORNINGS AFTER MASS - Please note that there will be no refreshments in the hall after the 10.00am Mass on Wednesdays throughout August. This week is the very last week that Kathleen Lynch serves us with tea and coffee, and supplies the most wonderful cakes and scones. We are very grateful to Kathleen for her dedication on a Wednesday morning, and we will miss her … and her cakes very much. Thank you Kathleen for all you have done for so many years for our parish.
From the beginning of September we are planning to draw up a rota of people willing to serve tea/coffee and biscuits on a Wednesday morning after Mass. All supplies are provided, please contact Monica on 07870 911057 or email monaherne@gmail.com.
X PROMOTING RACIAL AND CULTURAL INCLUSION IN OUR PARISHES, SCHOOLS AND COMMUNITIES SEMINAR will take place at the Amigo Hall, St George’s Cathedral, Southwark, from 9.30am to 4.00pm on Saturday 28 October 2023. You are all welcomed to this archdiocesan initiative by the Commission for Promoting Racial and Cultural Inclusion chaired by Canon Victor Darlington, Episcopal Vicar for the Southeast. There will be contributions from a range of speakers, including our Archbishop, John Wilson.
