X ST EDMUND’S NEEDS YOU! - The governance committee of our deanery secondary school is looking for new members!  Our school is judged good by Ofsted and is expanding, with some exciting initiatives in the pipeline!

We’re looking for practising Catholics from our local parishes to help us grow!  You’ll be part of a small, friendly committed team of volunteers who meet about six times a year, know and love their school but are not afraid to challenge where appropriate.  We’ll nurture you and help you feel at home.  All you need is common sense and a bit of time to give!

Come and be part of the St Edmund’s family!

Find out more about us at www.st-edmunds.com and contact Sally Vickers at the school on 01304 201551 or svickers@st-edmunds.com

WE FLY TO THY PROTECTION

 We fly to Thy protection,

O Holy Mother of God.
Do not despise our petitions in our necessities,
but deliver us always from all dangers,
O Glorious and Blessed Virgin.

PRAYER TO ST MICHAEL

 Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.

Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil;

May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;

And do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all evil spirits who wander through the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.
